Whew!

Christmas is over, the house is undecorated, and we are finally getting back into a "normal" routine again. The rush is over for work, although January and February are looking to be quite busy too! This means more stamping, digiscrapping and crafting time for me! I can't believe how long it's been since I made anything or blogged. I was starting to get a little crabby!

My Mom made us all these awesome Christmas crackers for our Christmas morning brunch! She even put in those snap thingy's and hats AND filled them with goodies according to the recipient! They didn't look so flat when they were filled with all the goods. Here are some pictures...

She took a 12 X 12 piece of designer paper, snipped the ends with decorative edged scissors, scored them length wise at 2-3/4 so that at the end, you had a little left over to tape together,

She then took her square hole punch and punched it on an angle to form the diamond shape, and scored down the center points of the diamond. This is where she tied the ribbons on the ends.

And here's the noise maker snap thingy. I have no idea what they are called, but she bought them at Michaels, and I think the hats for the inside too. Thanks Mommy!
